Dates Set for 2010 Mobile Historic Homes Tour by Historic Mobile Preservation Society

Spring is on the way and the Historic Mobile Preservation Society is working feverishly on the 2010 Mobile Historic Homes Tour. This year's Tour will feature six outstanding homes in the spectacular Ashland Place Historic District. The homes on the Tour range from a grand 1908 Georgian Revival to a lovely raised 1950s home. The focus of this year's Tour will be on how contemporary families live in homes in Mobile's historic districts.



To round-out your Historic Homes Tour experience plan also to attend one or more of the society's supporting events. Take afternoon tea at one of the historic house museums, tour Church Street Graveyard, or learn more about Mobile's rich architectural history during a lecture and reception at Mobile Preservation Society historic library.
