The village of Bloomingdale is located approximately 28 miles northwest of the Chicago "Loop" in suburban Dupage county.Bloomingdale is an established residential community, which traditionally served as a market center for surrounding rural areas.

There are 156 active listings of attached homes in the MLS. Based on the 2007 level of absorption this is 13.67 months of unsold inventory.
The condo/townhouse market is over supplied, sales volume was down -32.84%, average sales prices were down -5.48%, and the days on the market were up +16.96%. The 156 active MLS listings have been on the market an average of 176 days.
There is too much inventory for the demand, this points to long marketing times and lower prices in 2008.
