The Southwest corner of the I 10 and Highway 181 interchange has been a bustle of activity over the last 2 years. There is a new Lowes, Sam's Warehouse, and Toyota dealership open for business. Soon an Honda dealership will be open. There are a number of restaurants being built namely a Burger King and an unnamed Mexican restaurant. Recently a tract of land just to the west of the this property went under contract. There are plans to build a Hotel and restaurant on this property.
